Video coming soon. The video teaching for Day 24 is still in production. Read the full lesson below, it will be added here as soon as it is ready.
We've covered some heavy ground together: telling other men, your pastor, your wife, secrets and light, being a bother to the men around you. That's hard, real material, and if you've actually been doing it, not just watching it, you've been carrying some weight.
So today, before we move forward, let's stop and look back at how far you've actually come, and then look at what's still ahead, because I think it's going to encourage you more than you expect.
The whole journey, mapped like a mountain climb
Picture this whole journey as a climb up a mountain. Not a walk in the park, a real climb, with actual elevation, actual risk, actual weather. Six levels of victory. Six sections of the mountain.
Level 1 · Confession
Level 1 was base camp: I confess and repent whenever I sin. That's where every climb has to start: you can't ascend a mountain you're still pretending doesn't exist.
Level 2 · Distance
Level 2 was where you started cutting weight: I sacrifice whatever is necessary to create distance from temptation. Filters. Habits. Access. Comfort. You started leaving things behind that were never going to survive the climb anyway.
Level 3 · Healing
Level 3, where we've been the last several days, is where you learned you don't climb this mountain solo: I confess and pray with others to receive healing. You found your rope team. Men who'll catch you if you slip, who'll drag your sin into the light instead of letting it fester in the dark.
Here's something encouraging: Levels 1 through 3 are things you can genuinely put in place in two or three weeks. Confession, filters, telling people the truth, that's fast, base-camp work. If you've done it, you've already covered real distance. Don't undersell that. A lot of men never even leave the trailhead.
Already covered real distance? The next stretch has a structure too.
Every level, all 47 days, one guided climb: see exactly what the full six-level program walks you through.
Where the terrain changes
Level 4 · Discernment
Level 4 is: I discern the enemy's footholds in my life to preserve victory. This is where the climb slows down, not because you're failing, but because the air gets thinner and the ground gets more technical. You stop just avoiding temptation and start actually understanding it: your specific triggers, your specific wounds, the specific lies you've believed for years. That's not two-week work. That's the kind of climbing that takes real time, real attention, real honesty with yourself. And that's exactly as it should be: you don't sprint up the technical face of a mountain. You climb it carefully, one placement at a time.
Level 5 · Joy
Level 5 is: I increase joy in the Lord so temptation loses its power. This is the ridge where the view starts opening up, where you're not just surviving the climb anymore, you're actually starting to enjoy being up here. Where God starts replacing what you gave up with something better than what you lost.
Level 6 · Renewal
Level 6, the summit, is: I am transformed in my thinking so I see people as God sees them. This is where the climb was always headed. Not just a man who doesn't look at porn anymore, a man whose eyes have actually been retrained, who sees a woman and sees a person bearing God's image, not an object to consume. That's the view from the top.
Where you stand today
If you've done the work of Levels 1 through 3, you've already made real progress, faster progress, honestly, than most of the climb ahead will move. The next stretch will ask more patience from you. It'll be slower, deeper, more insightful work. That's not bad news. That's just what real terrain looks like above base camp.
And here's the good news for the climb ahead: you're not attacking the next ridge unequipped. You've got the right attitude now: you know this is a fight worth having. You've got key pieces already in place: the temptation isn't hitting you nearly as hard as it used to, because you've already cut so much dead weight loose. And you've got a team holding the ropes below you: men who know your story, who are praying for you right now, who aren't going anywhere.
That's not nothing. That's actually everything you need for what's next.
Take a breath. Look back at how far you've climbed. Then look up. There's a ridge ahead of us, and it's calling.
